The topic “Co-infection of Bacteria and Viruses” includes state-of-the-art presentations on bacterial and viral interactions with the human or animal host as well as recent advances in the understanding of co-infection mechanisms and pathophysiology. The summer school program addresses established experts and young scientists working in microbio- logy, virology and infection biology. It combines keynote lectures, oral presentations, workshops and posters, and a panel discussion on One Health issues.
