The Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg Greifswald has close ties to Ukraine for many years. Several Ukrainian fellows have spent research stays in the Kolleg. The Kolleg cooperates closely with the chair for Ukrainian cultural studies at the University of Greifswald and has been supporting the Greifswalder Ukrainicum, an international summer school dedicated to academic discourse on the culture, history and politics of Ukraine, for 15 years. The Kolleg therefore offered two short-term fellowships from May to August 2022 for researchers from Ukraine, including free accommodation and an office. A fellowship has been awarded to Professor Dr. Natalia Kudriavtseva. She is Professor of Translation and Slavic Studies at the Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University in Ukraine. In the two-minute video, she tells more about herself and her research.
